This is the website of mixed media artist, Laura Schoonover. View current works of sculpture, wall hangings and wearables.

Laura explores a variety of techniques to create the different works of art: weaving, metalsmithing, quilting, felting, papermaking, beading and other surface design techniques. The materials used differ as well: metal, glass, raw fibers, handmade paper, fabric, twine and found objects. -

Laura Schoonover received a BFA in Fibers/Textiles with a minor in Metalsmithing and Ceramics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Her art work has been shown in juried and non-juried exhibits across the United States.
